Canvas Art Projects

Happy Graduation, Laura!
Canvas size is 8" x 8".  I applied acrylic paint directly to canvas (Ranger Aqua & Pearl and Delta White Pearl).  Butterfly is the Tim Holtz Fanciful Flight die (Sizzix).  I ran the bottom pieces and body through the Divine Swirl embossing folder (Cuttlebug) for added dimension.  Color was applied to pieces using Tim's Distress Inks and shimmer was added with Distress Stickles.  The butterfuly was adhered to canvas using matte multi-medium (Claudine Hellmuth Studio) and the wings were raised by using an angle wood block underneath each wing.  Aqua Ribbon (Webster's Pages Bloomers) was added using multi-medium.  Sentiment (Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection CMS110) was stamped onto fabric, fringed, applied to cardstock for stability, then applied to canvas using multi-medium.

Canvas size is 8" x 8".  Apply acrylic paint directly to canvas.  Heart stamp (Stampin'Up!) was stamped onto canvas using red acrylic paint.  Gold acrylic paint was spattered onto canvas, then misted with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold.  Sentiment (Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection CMS085) was stamped onto fabric and applied using Matte Glue N'Seal (Ranger).  Red Stickles were applied to heart and red ribbon (Webster's Pages Bloomers) was added to canvas.

Disorderly
The base for this project is a 6" x 6" Artist's Loft Primed Wooden Cradle Board.  Drops of Alcohol Inks (Ranger) were applied to board one at a time, then sprayed with compressed air to splatter.  Sentiment (Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection CMS085) was stamped with Black Archival Ink (Ranger).

  1. Super super fun canvas! Simple yet PERFECT! My favorite is the last one with the alcohol inks. :)

  3. Anonymous...I got them at Michaels. I was just there last week and they still had a few. Sorry to hear they're discontinuing them! Maybe Dick Blick would be a resource as well?
